Marshmallows!

Had such a funny night last night!! My melons came over for a bbq as I am leaving tomorrow!!! Well felt like I was on Come Dine With Me, coz I went to the fish counter, then I made my pudding first before doing me starter....yeh then alllllll the food was totally burnt and Tanita was sick in the night...oops!!!

Have to convince myself that I need to pack today..very strange, can't quite believe I'm going to Cuba tomorrow :/ lil bit excited aha :D

Backpack!!

Just 2 weeks till I leave! Left Bournemouth today, moved all my stuff home, dno where it's all gna go :/ Granny has let me borrow this backpack!! How exciting..first time I'm going away without a massive suitcase, an even heavier hand luggage suitcase, a very large 'handbag' whilst wearing all my clothes! And I have my visa for Cuba! Ready to go. Omg my room is full of moths..shall I just sleep downstairs?!

Got me jabs!

Just been to the nurse to get my vaccination! Had Hepatitis A and Typhoid in one arm and Hepatitis B in the other!

She said I have to decide if I want Rabies and Yellow Fever coz I don't have to have them and they're expensive.

It is also confirmed that I am volunteering at a breeding centre for parrots in Costa Rica and staying in a homestay run by someone called Elizabeth! Very exciting!

Voy a ser voluntario

I arrive in Cuba on the 3rd of July and then will start my Spanish Course on the 4th at La Universidad de Habana at 9am where they are finding me a room in una familia!
